Question: Anyone in here had to go to bat against the FAR yet in regards to the secdef memo and NDAA/TAA compliance? There is a lot of chatter on being free to do what we need, but when the rubber meets the road we're being told non compliant items are non-reimbursable. Looking for the magic words/docs/refs for the contracts officers/purchasers to approve. Secdef memo doesn't give them the freedom to breach current FAR is my understanding.
